Site of Senior Service Institution Standardization Construction (Jiangsu Province) Pilot Project Training 

On 21^st November, China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service(CASWSS) and Jiangsu Civil Affairs Office jointly held the Second Stage Senior Service Institution Standardization Construction Pilot Project (Jiangsu Province) Training in Nanjing, which achieved great success. During the meeting, experts gave a full overview of the middle stage process of the project, making requests for the later stage of senior service institution standardization construction pilot work, and organizing experts to give training classes to pilot units. Feng Xiaoli, president of CASWSS; Sha Weiwei, Party member and vice director of Jiangsu Civil Affairs Office; Liu Youxue, vice-president of CASWSS; Sun Caiyang, vice-director of Social Welfare and Charity Promotion Department of Jiangsu Civil Affairs Office attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Sun Caiyang hosted the meeting, vice-directors, directors of welfare department who are responsible for senior service of civil affairs bureau from 13 cities of Jiangsu province, and leaders from 30 pilot units, totally 100 people attended the meeting.

On behalf of Jiangsu Civil Affairs Office, vice-director Sha Weiwei first expressed his gratitude to the experts from CASWSS for their hardworking on-the-spot investigation to the pilot units. During the medium-term exploration, pilot units exposed lots of shortages in terms of standardization construction management and operation and service support. He thought that senior service institution talents training determined the quality of service, which was the precondition to realize seniors’ yearning for good life. He hoped staff from civil affairs departments and senior service institutions could know security management, service quality control and age-friendly environment construction from multi-angle and multi-dimension. As the first demonstration project supported by central government, he made three requests to civil affairs departments and senior service institutions around Jiangsu province in terms of further strengthen senior service standardization construction and improve service quality, the first request was to check and find out the shortages in management and operation and make up further rectification measures in accordance with current national standard, industrial standard and combined with the real condition of pilot units; the second one was that each pilot unit should make the hardware allocation and service management standardized according to  proposed rectification plan; the third one was that he hoped leaders of every civil affairs department would pay much more attention to standardization pilot work and carry out the work from the point to the surface. 

As the leader of standardization construction pilot project team, president Feng Xiaoli first expressed her gratitude for taking seriously and earnestly organizing pilot work, elaborating the important meaning of Jiangsu pilot project, introducing the status of middle stage of the project in terms of system construction, facilities and equipment, position setting, service supply, quality control, security management, interpreting related policy   accelerating senior service industry standardization construction, promoting senior service to advance quality and increase efficiency, making specific requests to the later work of pilot project. She encouraged leaders of each pilot unit to establish five consciousnesses, establish study consciousness and build a learning-oriented team, establish management consciousness and form scientific management system, establish quality consciousness and strengthen quality management methods, establish talents consciousness and set up talents training plan, establish innovative consciousness and carry out brand building work; try to complete four persistences, include insist on learning basic knowledge about standardization construction, taking standardization construction for development and planing of institution, organizing management team to comb work clues, summarizing achievement, finding gaps, positioning scientifically and continuously improving; insist on grasping standardization construction professional talents training, willing to put effort and funds to train core technology backbone to lay a solid foundation for a leapfrog development; insist on getting knowledge of senior service business as an expert management in depth front line, understand key points of service inspection; the last one is to insist on building senior service quality management system in institutions, advance quality and increase efficiency and cultivate service brand through building level 4 supervision and inspection system and set an example by personally taking part. She encouraged each pilot project unit to proceed according to the plan, playing an active role in laying a solid foundation for sustainable development, improving life quality for elderly and promoting harmonious social advancement through improving  scientific management and team building in each standardization pilot unit.

Moreover, Yi Jie, vice-president of Nanjing Association of Welfare; Hua Ling, president of Shenzhen Yantian Welfare Center, Chen Lizhong, chairman of Taicang Kanghui Technology Development Co.,Ltd, Song Linghan, assistant director-general of CASWSS senior service informatization construction committee retrospectively gave lectures about system construction, document management, position setting, facilities and equipment, elderly ability assessment. Gao Lichang, Pizhou Civil Affairs Bureau introduced the attention to standardization construction and Pizhou senior service standardization construction experience to the audience from the aspect of civil affairs; As the representatives, Dong Mei, manager of Jiangsu Xingfutiannian Senior Service Co.,Ltd, Chen Jian, director of Zhang Jiagang social welfare center shared experience in standardization construction. In the meanwhile, Jiang Xiaoling, vice secretary general of CASWSS and director-general of CASWSS senior service standardization construction committee interpreted Acceptance and Assessment Criteria of Senior Service Informatization Construction Committee of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service.
