CASWSS Leaders visited Shijiazhuang Retirement Apartment to Examine Its Standardization

On June 17, Feng Xiaoli, President of CASWSS led an experts group to do a mid-term examination of Shijiazhuang Retirement Apartment. Liang Wei, researcher from China Architecture Design & Research Group, Luo Yimin, standardization research director from National Research Center for Rehabilitation Techinical Aids,Jiang Xiaoling, general director from CASWSS Senior Service Evaluation and Standardization Construction Committee. Zhou Bingyuan, Head of Shijiazhuang Retirement Apartment made a report for the expert group about its standardization work progress The expert group listened to the Zhou Bingyuan's report about its standardization work progress and visited its standardization system construction, facilities construction, facility layout, position setting, service delivery and quality management. They made highly appreciation of the apartment's efforts and achievements and raised advice for its improvement. In January 2016, CASWSS undertook a project from Ministry of Civil Affairs, i.e. Senior Service Insitutions Standardization Construction Pilot Program, after summarizing experience from the first batch, it has selected and trained the second batch of pilot units. According to program requirements, CASWSS will made mid-term examination on pilots units about its program implementation situation. President Feng stressed, senior service institutions standardization pilots is an important step made by Ministry of Civil Affairs to guide social force's partication into senior service system construction and improve senior service quality. For pilot units, highly attention and serious work is an important basis to make achievements. Through today's examination, Shijiazhuang Retirement Apartment has done well in aged-friendly environment transformation, facility layout, service content increasement and job environment building by its well organization, duty fulfullment and implementation of system. She hoped that it will make up its insufficiency and increase social effects and economic benefits by standardization piloting work.
