CASWSS Expert Group went to Jiangxi Province to made an interim examination on the senior service institutions standardization construction

On June 28th, Ms Feng Xiaoli, President of CASWSS, went to Nanchang, Jiang Xi Province to make an interim examination on the national senior service organization standardization pilot construction program along with expert group including Tian Lanning, Vice President of CASWSS, Head of Senior Service Informatics Development Committee(SSIDC), Liu Songhuai, Researcher of National Research Center for Rehabilitation Technical Aids, Luo Yimin, Director of Standardization Research Department of National Research Center for Rehabilitation Technical Aids, Meng Fanli, Head of Health Management Department of Hanzhou Normal University, Jiang Xiaoling, Director General of Senior Service Evaluation and Standardization Construction Committee. During the examination, the expert group is accompanied by Xiong Ming, Director of Social Welfare and Charity Promotion Bureau in Civil Affairs Department of Jiangxi Province, Li Naimin, Deputy Director of Nanchang Xihu District Civil Affairs Bureau.

The expert group listened to the Ju Pingqiu's report about its standardization work progress and inspected the institution’s environment, facilities construction, facility layout, position setting, service delivery and quality management. Experts made objective evaluations on the merits and drawbacks during its standardization construction progress and raised specific requirements.

Xiong Ming, Director of Social Welfare and Charity Promotion Bureau in Civil Affairs Department of Jiangxi Province delivers a speech

During the discussion, Xiong Ming said that with accurate position, CASWSS made great efforts in assisting Ministry of Civil Affairs and getting effective results, the guidance from expert group and the visit in the hot summer shows their sincere care for the elderly. He encouraged the pilot unit to keep on working and improve its standardization construction ability and level, based on which it could gain more experience and play leading role in the province.

Ms Feng made a summary and expressed her sincere gratitude to Civil Affairs Department of Jiangxi Province for their implementation of related policies and highly attention and great support to this standardization pilot program. She also gave them credit for carrying on pilot work and raised specific requirements on its next work. She hopes that this institution would play a publication and leading role in the practice and made contributions to the development of senior service management level in Jiangxi Province so as to improve the elder’s welfare.
