CASWSS went to Jiangsu Province to made an interim examination on the senior service institutions standardization construction

From August 17 to 19, Liu Guanghe, Former President of CASWSS, Feng Xiaoli, President of CASWSS and Zhang Mingling, Standing Vice President of CASWSS led an expert group to Jinagsu Province to visit its senior service institutions, and made an interim examination on the standardization construction. Niu Xuexing, Jiangsu Deputy Director-General of Jiangsu Department of Civil Affairs, Sha Weiwei and related leaders from Nanjing, Pizhou, and Wuxi Civil Affairs Bureaus also participated in the investigation.

The expert group made inspection on the institution’s environment, facilities construction, facility layout, position setting, service delivery and quality management, visited Ability Assessment for Elder Adults Room, Rehabilitation Training Room, Muniment Room, TCM Healthcare Room, Midical Service Area, Healthy Elder Service Area, Disabled Elder Caring Area, and talked with elders happily. President Feng took photos of the elders to record their smiling faces.

After that, the investigation group had discussion meetings at the two pilot units, listened to reports from Civil Affarirs Bureaus and pilots units. Experts made objective evaluations on the merits and drawbacks during its standardization construction progress and raised specific requirements.

During the discussion meeting, Liu Guanghe first highly appreciated their positive exploration on service building and management model innovation. He pointed out that the standardization is a method to win market and earn sustainable development. He hoped that they would listened to the elder's suggestion and made improvement according to the requirements.
Feng Xiaoli showed thanks to Jiangsu Department of Civil Affairs for positive support to the standardization pilot project which is undertaken by CASWSS. She also praised their efforts and archievements in organizing and carrying out the pilot work, especially their innovative points in integration of medical care and senior care, combination of senior service institution and community home care service, IT service and management.At the same time, they raised specific requirements on their folllowing work.She sincerely hopes that they will play a publication and leading role in the practice and made contributions to the development of senior service management level in Jiangsu Province so as to improve the elder’s welfare.

In Nanjing, accompanied by leaders of local civil affairs bureau, CASWSS leaders visited AN KANG TONG, filiale of SanPower Group and XIANLIN International Senior Care Center, filiale of ORPEA. During the visit, President Feng said that AN KANG TONG has made positive exploration on improving the quality and expanding the coverage of senior service by building innovative IT platform and combining related social sources through "Internet plus" model to convey different services to the elders at institutions, communities, or at home.This model is worthy promoting in a wider range. When visiting ORPEA, President Feng spoke high of its humanity design and elegent environment, and the localization of French advanced senior service ideas and service model was very impressive. ORPEA's senior service model is a good reference for China to broaden the channel of international cooperation, introducing good international sources and creating senior service development model.
