-- On March 9, Jiang Dan, Director of Business Development Center of Red Cross Society of China, along with another six partners, visited our Association to discuss the cooperation issues and panel discussed with Zhang Mingliang, Senior Vice President, and Feng Xiaoli ,Vice President & Secretary General as well as directors of each department. Both sides introduced their achievements in the senior service sector, discussed common areas to give full play all the high-quality resources and reached cooperation intentions on brand cultivation, talents training, scientific demonstration base construction, etc. of senior service field. Both sides will take the opportunity of the "5th China International Senior Service Expo" to sign the strategic cooperation agreements.
-- From March 24 to 25, "National Training Center for Pilot Work on Standardization of Aged Service Institutions" was held by the China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service at the social welfare center of Yantian District, Shenzhen City, business training was conducted around the theme of "summarize the pilot experience of the first batch of senior service institution standardization construction, introduce the requirement of pilot experience of the first batch of senior service institution standardization construction in 2016 supported by central finance, experts interpretation on care standards and on-site empathic learning". Leaders such as Vice President of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service Liu Guanghe, senior vice chairman Zhang Mingliang, Vice President and secretary general Feng Xiaoli, Deputy Director Department of Civil Affairs of Guangdong Province Rao Meiyi, district mayor of Yantian District, Shenzhen City Wu Delin, Deputy Secretary Bureau of Civil Affairs of Shenzhen City Chen Yakai, President of Shenzhen Municipal Social Welfare Association Tao Juan attended in the meeting. The meeting is an important measure that implement the "13th Five-year Plan" national standardization deployment and advance the pilot of national senior service institution standardized construction. Principals from social welfare/ senior service institution in provinces (municipalities), more than 40 pilot units of senior service standardization construction as well as over 200 media workers participated in the meeting. Those who participated in the training expressed that: The training meeting was rich in content, timely and effectively, which played the role of inspiration and guiding.
