-- On April 9, the final decision meeting of "SSIDC 2nd Competition of Senior Service Industry Informationization and Innovation" was held in Beijing co-organized by the Senior Service Informatics Development Committee of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service (SSIDC), Intel (China) Co., Ltd. and Senior Service Informatics Research Center. The wonderful appearance of competition teams from 10 provinces and municipalities nationwide was carefully reviewed by judges upon intense competition, 6 gold prizes and 4 silver prizes were finally appraised and selected.
-- From April 14 to 15, "The Elderly Ability Evaluation Training Meeting for the Pilot Units of National Senior Service Institution Standardization Construction" was held by the China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service in Suzhou Social Welfare Home. The meeting further promoted the standardization management of senior service industry, which has provided industry management and standard development for senior service industry and was conductive to guide nursing institutions for the aged nationwide as well as scientifically carry out the ability evaluation of the elderly. More than 60 principals from over 20 nursing institutions for the aged in different provinces and municipalities attended the training meeting.
-- On April 20, Preparatory work news briefing of "5th China International Senior Service Expo" was held at the Press Conference Hall of Ministry of Civil Affairs by the Committee of China International Senior Care Services Expo. The meeting was hosted by Meng Zhiqiang, the Deputy Director of Elderly Welfare of Social Welfare and Charity Promotion Office in the Ministry of Civil Affairs; Feng Xiaoli , the Secretary General of China International Senior Care Services Expo, and Li Hongbing, theVice Secretary General, attended the meeting. Nearly 30 mainstream medias including People's Daily, CCTV, BTV, Beijing Daily, Beijing Youth Daily, Guang Ming Daily, China Society News, Beijing Community News, etc.
