December 2016-Memorabilia of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service

-- From December 6 to 7, Feng Xiaoli, President of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, was invited to attend the "UK Integrated Health and Care Demonstrator" sponsored by the British International Trading Department, the China-Britain Business Council, the British Consulate General in Shanghai and co-sponsored by the China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, and made a keynote speech. Jeremy Hunt, British Minister of Health, and Deborah Kobewka, British Medical Director, attended the event. During the event, there were nearly 30 UK-based organizations and enterprises in total, which were engaged in health-care integration, attending the meeting and demonstrating their achievements in preventive medicine, general practitioner services, rehabilitation services, institutional care, home care and digital medical technology. Additionally, there were about professional 700 audiences from all over the country attending the event; and they extensively and deeply exchanged their ideas with the relevant British institutions and enterprises.

-- In the afternoon of December 19, "2016 Provincial (Municipal) Social Welfare Association Innovation Development Symposium - Project Summary Meeting of Standardization Pilot Construction of National Senior Service Institution", sponsored by the China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service and co-organized by Pizhou Municipal Government of Jiangsu Province was held in Jiangsu. Liu Guanghe, the First President of the China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, Feng Xiaoli, President of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, Zhang Mingliang, Executive Vice President, Sha Weiwei, Deputy Director of the Jiangsu Civil Affairs Bureau, Tang Jian, Mayor of Pizhou City, Jiangsu Province, Zhai Caixia, Secretary of the Xuzhou Civil Affairs Bureau, Liu Ruyu, Vice Mayor of Pizhou City, Tian Lanning, Yuan Xiang and Mr. Chen Wenlong, Vice Presidents of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, attended the meeting. There were nearly 110 delegates from various provinces (municipalities) social welfare associations, senior service associations, standardization pilot units and associations of various departments attending the meeting. President Feng Xiaoli briefed the Association on the results achieved in the key work in 2016, and introduced the work ideas of the association in 2017. Li Jianguo, President of Beijing Senior Care Industry Association, Dong Zhulin, Executive Vice President of Liaoning Social Welfare Institute, and Liu Ming, President of Sichuan Association of Senior Service, introduced the highlight of the innovational work with the cooperation with government departments in 2016; Gao Lichang, Director General of Pizhou Civil Affairs Bureau, introduced the results made by Pizhou Municipal Government in promoting social senior service system and improving the senior welfare; Tian Lanning, Vice President of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, and Fei Chunlu, Responsible Person of Financial Services Branch Preparatory Group, respectively shared their thoughts on the evaluation of senior service industry and the work thinking about financial services for the aged under the background of the Internet. China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service newly established Home Care Division and Health and Nutrition Branch's relevant person in charge respectively introduced the focus of the work in 2017. At the meeting, the leaders awarded the standardization pilot units of national senior service institutions in 2016 - Social Welfare Center of Pizhou City to "Standardization Pilot Unit of National Senior Service Institution", "National Skills Training Base for Senior Service".

- On December 19 afternoon, the China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service held its 2016 Central Government Support Social Organization Social Service Projects - Project Summary Meeting of Standardization Pilot Construction of National Senior Service Institution, and the meeting was chaired by vice president Tian Lanning. President Feng Xiaoli, as the project leader, summed up the project from eight aspects: the background, the goal, the implementation, the effect, the innovation, the use of funds, the media propaganda and the output of the project, and she highly summed up the innovation of this project. She encouraged the pilot units to further improve the work according to the pilot program, and strive to make the system construction, facilities, equipment configuration, job placement, service delivery, quality control and other aspects standardized, so that to play an exemplary role for the local "Thirteen Five" Service standardization and brand building and to contribute to improving the well-being of the elderly. Yuan Zhi, Chairman of Hunan Kangle Nianhua Pension Service Co., Ltd., Yu Yongjun, Director of Yantai Senior Service Welfare Center, and Wu Li, Vice Dean of the First Social Welfare Institute of Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, introduced the pilot work experience. Participants also visited the Social Welfare Center of Pizhou City after the meeting, and they exchanged ideas and learnt at the site.

"2016 National Senior Service Professional Training - Senior Health Management Division Training Courses" sponsored by the China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service and organized by the Health Management Department of Hangzhou Normal University and Hangzhou Lvkang Nursing Vocational School, will be held on December 27 Day to 31 in Hangzhou. More than 40 participants of the standardization pilot units of the senior service institution from the 11 provinces and municipalities would participate in the training and learning.

-- On December 30, China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service held the second session of the second executive council in the form of signing congress. The meeting mainly requested the executive directors to review the 2016 Annual Work Summary of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, Proposal on Adding Financial Services Branch in China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service and Proposed List of New Members of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service in 2016 and other documents.
