-- On November 6, second phase of "Capability Training Class for Managers at Child Welfare Institutions of Tibet" was opened, which was held by China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service and organized by Baoji Children's Welfare in Shaanxi Province, and was begun in Baoji city. Besides, Feng Xiaoli, the President of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, Wu Fuxiang, the Commissioner of Child Welfare of Social Affairs Department in Ministry of Civil Affairs, Dai Hongce, the Deputy Director General of Baoji Civil Affairs Bureau, and Wang Dongpeng, the Dean of Baoji Children's Welfare, attended the ceremony and made speeches. Then, Feng Xiaoli gave the training courss the first lesson around the topic of Leadership Improvement and Team Culture Construction. 21 key staff in management and services from Lhasa, Shigatse, Qamdo, Nagchu and Nyingchi child welfare institutions attended the training. On November 14, Zhang Mingliang, the Executive Vice President of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, Feng Liwei, the Vice Secretary General of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, and Wang Dongpeng, the Dean of Baoji Children's Welfare, attended the graduation ceremony of training courses.

-- On November 7, the president Feng Xiaoli along with the expert group performed the acceptance of Project for 2016 Standardized Pilot Construction of National Senior Service Institution in the First Social Welfare Institute of Nanchong City in Sichuan province. On November 8 and 9, the expert group went to Panzhihua City in Sichuan Province for researching and investigating the standardization construction of nursing institutions for the aged. The social welfare institution in Panzhihua City, the Elder Nursing Center of Taiwan Minsheng, the Miyi Care Center of Huafang in Beijing, the social welfare institution of Miyi county and the Miyi Daily Care Center in Nanshan were investigated successively. All experts from the different views investigated the standardization construction and then made sustainable perfecting suggestions.

-- On November 12, China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service and Guanghua International Education Association jointly held the first "Vocational Education Salon for the Fuyi Senior Service Professionals", which was hosted by Feng Xiaoli, the President of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service. And there were 12 experts and scholars in the field of senior service and education from America, Canada, Britain and Europe, participating in the salon with the leaders from China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, Guanghua International Education Association, Beijing Senior Care Industry Association, Xicheng Civil Affairs Department in Beijing and principals of partial nursing institutions for the aged in Beijing. The salon focuses on the topic of "Training Model and Experience for Professionals in Senior Service Sector", during which, the Chinese and foreign guests made a thorough discussion. During the salon, China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service and Xicheng Civil Affairs Bureau lointly organized the international guests to visit and investigate the Niujie Nursing Home in Xicheng District of Beijing and the Community Senior Service Station of Xili Second Community of Niujie in Xicheng District of Beijing.

-- On November 15, "2016 National Senior Service Professional Training - Training Course of the Nutritionist for the Elderly" of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service was begun in Peking Union Medical College. Han Hua, the Secretary General of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, and He Zhong, theDean of Continuing Studies College of Peking Union Medical College, attended the ceremony and made their speeches. There were 34 trainees, from the second batch of standardization pilot units for senior service institutions in more than 20 provinces and cities throughout the country, taking part in this learning activity. After the completion of the training, the trainees who had completed the required school hours examinations were awarded the Training Certificate in Nutritional Skills for Senior Citizens jointly issued by the China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service and the Peking Union Medical College Training Center.

-- On November 22, China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service held the "Elderly Caregivers, Senior Nursing Teacher Pilot Textbook Expert Symposium." Feng Xiaoli, President of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, Tian Lanning, Vice President, Han Hua, Secretary General, and Li Shaochun, Director of Social Welfare Administration of Beijing Civil Affairs Bureau attended the meeting. 17 experts from the Nursing School of Peking University School, Medicine Network Education School of Peking University School, Beijing Social Management Vocational College, the National Open University Social Engineering Institute, Landgent Group, Beijing Fifth Social Welfare Institute, Wuhan Jianghan District Social Welfare Institute, Beijing Shuangjing Gonghe Court attended the seminar.

-- On November 26, the founding meeting of Health and Nutrition Branch of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service- the First Symposium on the Theory and Practice Innovation of Medicine and Nutrition was held in Hangzhou. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Mingliang, executive vice president of the China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service. Wang Zhizhen, Vice Chairman of the 11th CPPCC, Liu Guanghe, the First President of the China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, Xu Hongdao and Feng Peien, the Vice Chairmen of the 9th Zhejiang CPPCC and Feng Xiaoli, the President of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, attended the founding meeting and unveiled the nameplate. Su Changcong, the Deputy Director of Zhejiang Civil Affairs Bureau, and Huang Yuanlong, the President of Social Welfance Association of Zhijiang Provlnce, attended the meeting. Nearly 200 members from domestic and foreign academic circles and health and nutrition branches attended the conference. The meeting considered and adopted the Working Rules for the Medical Treatment and Endowment Combination Branch of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, List for Candidates in the First Council of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service and other documents; and Zhuo Yongyue, Chairman of Green Healthcare Group was selected as the President of Health and Nutrition Branch of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service.

At the same time, the first symposium on theoretical and practical innovation was held. The symposium was organized by Professor Cheng Haijun, Ministry of Civil Policy Theory Institute in Civil Affairs Training Center and Vice President of Health and Nutrition Branch of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, and President Feng Xiaoli, delivered a keynote speech entitled Daring to Innovate and Open up a New Situation for Cultivating Medical Service Talents. Su Changcong, Deputy Director of Zhejiang Civil Affairs Bureau, gave a keynote speech entitled Practicing and Thinking of Zhejiang Medical Services. Representatives at home and abroad, Tian Lanning, Vice President of the China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, Jill Bennett, the General Manager of P2P in the UK, Zhuo Yongyue, Chairman of the Lvkang Healthcare Group, Zhang Naizi, Former President of Shanghai No.3 Welfare Institute, Wang Ming, Chairman of Jiangsu Fukangtong Senior Care Ltd., Co, Serina Okamura, Associate Professor of Japan International Medical Welfare University, made keynote speeches on the policy innovation and practice of integrated services in succession.
