January 2015-Memorabilia of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service

anuary 16th: Vice Minister Zou Ming from Ministry of Civil Affairs went to China Association of Social Welfare to visit and instruct works. Vice Minister Zou Ming courteously visited all members of the Association and extended his new year greeting to all under the accompany of leaders from the Association, including President Liu Guanghe, Standing Vice President Zhang Mingliang and Vice President and Secretary-General Feng Xiaoli. At the symposium, Vice Minister Zou Ming fully recognized the works done by the Association, and put forward his sincere hope on how to play a role on connecting with works of Department of Welfare, further explore and innovate and become bigger and stronger under the new situation of leaping development in the social welfare service industry by the Association.

January 20th: China Association of Social Welfare convened “The Meeting for Advancing Textbooks (The Second Batch) for Vocational Skills Training for Senior Service Field”. This meeting was chaired by Vice President and Secretary-General Feng Xiaoli of China Association of Social Welfare. Secretary Lu Jianshe of Party Committee from Social Security Capacity Building Center under MOHRSS, Vice President Zhang Kaiti from China Silver Industry Association, Professor Xu Qin from Gerontology Research Center in Tsinghua University and other experts attended this meeting. Meeting participants discussed and reviewed on R & D manuscripts of 8 textbooks, including Professional Care for Senile Dementia —— Trainings on Managers Practices, Trainings on Elderly Mental Counseling Service Practices, Trainings on Practices for President of Senior Service Agencies, Trainings on Practices for Human Resources Trainers in Senior Service Agencies, Practices for Human Resources Management of Senior Service Agencies, Trainings on Practices for the Elderly TCM Health Care Practitioners, Trainings on Practices on Instructors for Elderly Sports Activities and The Elderly Rehabilitation Service Guide. 

January 21st: China Association of Social Welfare convened “The First President Office Meeting in 2015”, which was chaired by President Liu Guanghe. President Liu Guanghe, Standing Vice President Zhang Mingliang, Vice President and Secretary-General Feng Xiaoli, Vice Presidents Li Jianjun, Yuan Xiang, Hai Fei and other leaders attended this meeting. At this meeting, the following documents of China Association of Social Welfare were approved: 2014 Work Summary, 2014 Financial Report, 2015 Work Plan, Name List of New Executive Members of the Council and Council Members in 2014. This meeting decided to submit the above documents to the Standing Council to be reviewed and approved.
