From 2nd to 3rd of April: Senior Service Informatics Development Committee under China Association of Social Welfare held the “Training Program of Ability Evaluator for Older Adults” at Beijing Hexihui Apartment for the Aged, which is a standardization pilot of China Association of Social Welfare. 29 evaluators and Presidents from 22 entities all over China participated in this training, and they systematically learnt the scientific methods and software application methods for ability evaluation for older adults. April 10th: German General Manager Mr. Sebastian Engmann, Business Manager Mr. Axel Brückum, Chinese Business Chief Representative Mr. Thomas Bonschab and Chinese Business Representative Ms. Guo Nan from IB of Germany visited China Association of Social Welfare. The two parties discussed about carrying out cooperation in the field of senior service by integrating resources advantages, advanced concepts and practical experiences between China and Germany. April 17th: China Association of Social Welfare convened “The Third President Office Meeting in 2015”, which was chaired by President Liu Guanghe of China Association of Social Welfare. Standing Vice President Zhang Mingliang, Vice President and Secretary-General Feng Xiaoli, Vice Presidents Zheng Gongcheng, Zhang Xiulan, Yuan Xiang and Liu Yutong from China Association of Social Welfare attended this meeting; chiefs of related departments from China Association of Social Welfare attended this meeting as non-voting attendees. At this meeting, the following documents were approved: The Work Program for The Fourth China International Senior Service Exhibition (CISSE 2015), Proposal on Name Adjustment and Change of “China Association of Social Welfare”, The Draft for Modification on Articles of Association of “China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service”, Proposal on Deferring the Leadership Transition of China Association of Social Welfare, The Proposal for Adjustment on Internal Institutions and Professional Institutions of China Association of Social Welfare and Personnel Employment Scheme for Internal Departments of China Association of Social Welfare in 2015. April 20th: China Association of Social Welfare convened “The Sixth Session of The First Council” via the form of signing signatures in lieu of holding a meeting; this meeting mainly asked all council members to determine the following documents for China Association of Social Welfare: 2014 Work Summary, 2014 Financial Report, 2015 Work Plan, Name List of New Executive Members of the Council and Council Members in 2014, The Proposal on Name Adjustment and Change of “China Association of Social Welfare”, The Draft for Modification on Articles of Association of “China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service” and Proposal on Deferring the Leadership Transition of China Association of Social Welfare. April 24th: China Association of Social Welfare convened “The Acceptance Review Meeting on R & D Results of Distance Training Program for Textbooks on Vocational Skills Practices of Core Technical Posts in Senior Service Agencies” to review and carry out the acceptance check on The Acceptance Review Meeting on R & D Results of Distance Training Program for Textbooks on Vocational Skills Practices of Core Technical Posts in Senior Service Agencies that funded and organized the R & D by China Association of Social Welfare. The Review Panel unanimously considered that this R & D program strictly followed the general R&D requirements, innovatively applied advanced technologies of distance education for organizing program R & D, guaranteed the authoritativeness, scientificity and professionalism of the program, filled up the blank in series of distance training programs for key technical personnel in China Senior Service field; as a result, experts from the Review Panel approved and passed the project review and acceptance.
