May 6th: The Opening Ceremony of The Fourth China International Senior Service Exhibition (CISSE 2015) & “The Fourth China International Senior Service Development Forum” was successfully held at China National Convention Center (CNCC) in Beijing. This Exhibition was jointly sponsored by Ministry of Civil Affairs and Office of The National Working Commission on Aging, and jointly undertaken by China Association of Social Welfare, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs and the Office of Beijing Municipal Working Commission on Aging. Government departments, senior services agencies, organization of unions, research and development institutions of products for elderly in the senior service field from 13 countries and regions as well as 27 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in China, attended this exhibition.

Executive Deputy Director Wang Jianjun from the Office of The National Working Commission on Aging chaired this Opening Ceremony, and Vice Chairman Zhang Meiying announced the opening of this Exhibition. Leaders attended this Opening Ceremony and delivered speeches including Vice Chairman Zhang Meiying of The 11th CPPCC National Committee, Vice Minister Zou Ming from Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Standing Committee Member of Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor Dai Junliang of Beijing Municipality, Secretary-General Jane Barratt of The International Federation on Ageing. Many Chinese and foreign honored guests attended the Opening Ceremony and the main forum, including Vice Minister Hu Xiaoyi from Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China (MOHRSS), Vice-Governor Sun Dongsheng of Heilongjiang Province, President Liu Guanghe from China Association of Social Welfare, Vice President Chu Ping from China Silver Industry Association, Director-General Li Wanjun of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs, Counselor Benoît Sevcik of Health And Social Affairs in Embassy of France in China, Director-General Jean-Louis Davet of MGEN in France, Permanent Secretary Jesper Zwisler of The Ministry of Social Affairs in Denmark, Executive Vice Mayor Hans Søie of Holbaek City in Denmark, Vice President Cheryl Phillips of LeadingAge in the USA, and other Chinese and foreign guests.

The Fourth China International Senior Service Development Forum themed at “Gathering of Intelligence and Power, with Innovative Service, Sharing for All and Harmonious Development”, and it invited governmental officers, experts and scholars at home and abroad to actively explore the route for advancing the senior service undertaking development on the basis of active discussing on system development and experience in policy innovation from macro perspective. The forum was chaired by Director Yu Jianliang from Department of Social Welfare and Charity Promotion in Ministry of Civil Affairs. 

From 6th to 8th of May: “The Fourth China International Senior Service Exhibition (CISSE 2015)” held 10 sub-forums by focusing on key contents related to development of social senior service system during the corresponding period, and these forums are: “Forum for Social Senior Service Standardization Development”, “Forum for Social Senior Service Informatization Development”, “Forum for Buildings Suitable for Elderly in Combination of Medical and Rehabilitation Services and Their Facilities Configuration”, “Forum for Cultivating Talents Team for Elderly Education and Services”, “Forum for Community Home-based Care Services”, “Pension Funds and Investment Management Forum - The Elderly Financial Services”, “Forum on Design, Configuration and Application for Senior Service Equipments and Products”, “Forum on Practices and Popularization for Senior Service Brand Development”, “Forum on Geriatric Rehabilitation and Nursing Services” and “Forum on Standardization Development of Buildings Suitable for Elderly”. Moreover, the “Promotion Conference on Investment Attracting and Publicity for Heilongjiang Province Senior Service Industry” and “Sino-French Cooperative Communication and Negotiation Conference” also were held during the period of this Exhibition. More than 100 experts, scholars and practitioners from 13 countries delivered their respective wonderful speeches at all forums; they also shared the wisdoms and experiences in humanistic concerns for senior citizens in their respective countries, and further explored the new pattern of senior service in the new age. The warm atmosphere and the grand occasion of packed audience of all forums received highly praise from participated guests and audience.
