 July 7th: “Zhejiang Province Program of The Distance Education Training for Presidents of National Senior Service Agencies and Senior Caregivers” was opened at China Hangzhou Golden Age Health Retirement Center, a standardization development pilot of senior service agencies under project of China Association of Social Welfare. Vice President and Secretary-General Feng Xiaoli of China Association of Social Welfare, President Ma Guangwu from Zhejiang Province Elderly-care Services Association, Section Chief Lu Xiaohua from Department of Social Welfare and Senior Service of Zhejiang Civil Affairs Bureau attended the opening ceremony and made speeches. Feng Xiaoli, Vice President and Secretary-General of China Association of Social Welfare, gave a lecture for trainees with the theme “Gathering Intelligence to Make Contributions for Accelerating Talents Team Cultivation for Senior Service Industry”. 239 trainees from all senior service agencies of Zhejiang Province participated in this training.

July 8th: “Guangzhou City Program of The Distance Education Training for Presidents of National Senior Service Agencies and Senior Caregivers” was opened at Guangzhou Liwan District Yihe Endowment Haoting Apartment, a standardization development pilot of senior service agencies under project of China Association of Social Welfare. Standing Vice President Zhang Mingliang from China Association of Social Welfare, Director Lu Wenyan from Senior Service Center of Bureau of Civil Affairs of Guangzhou Municipality, Secretary-General Dong Keyi from Guangdong Elderly-care Services Association, Secretary-General Zhong Shixiong from Guangzhou Social Welfare Service Association, and President Huang Yuanzhen from Guangzhou Association of Home-Based Care for the Aged attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. 50 trainees from all senior service agencies of Guangdong Province participated in this training. 

July 9th: “Shenzhen City Program of The Distance Education Training for Presidents of National Senior Service Agencies and Senior Caregivers” was opened at Shenzhen Baoan District Social Welfare Center. Vice President and Secretary-General Feng Xiaoli of China Association of Social Welfare, Deputy Director-General Zheng Xiaoxia from Shenzhen Civil Affairs Bureau, Deputy Director-General Zeng Zikun from Shenzhen Baoan District Civil Affairs Bureau, and Tao Jun, Director from Shenzhen Baoan District Social Welfare Center and President of Shenzhen Association of Social Welfare, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. 100 trainees from all senior service agencies of Guangdong Province participated in this training. 

July 15th: “Anhui Province Program of The Distance Education Training for Presidents of National Senior Service Agencies and Senior Caregivers” was opened at Hefei Wangjiang Hotel. Vice President and Secretary-General Feng Xiaoli of China Association of Social Welfare, Deputy Director Chen Chaoying from Department of Civil Affairs of Anhui Province, Standing Vice President Liu Wei from Anhui Association of Charity and Social Welfare attended the opening ceremony and made speeches. 100 trainees from all senior service agencies of Anhui Province participated in this training. 

July 21st: Department of Social Welfare and Charity Promotion in Ministry of Civil Affairs organized Expert Review Panel in Beijing to convene the Results Review Acceptance Meeting on Senior Service Evaluation Mechanism Research Project, in order to review the research results of the Senior Service Evaluation Mechanism Research Project undertaken by China Association of Social Welfare. Deputy Director Zhen Bingliang from Department of Social Welfare and Charity Promotion in Ministry of Civil Affairs and Vice President and Secretary-General Feng Xiaoli of China Association of Social Welfare attended this meeting; this meeting was chaired by Zhang Xiaofeng, Section Chief from Elderly Welfare Section under Department of Social Welfare and Charity Promotion in Ministry of Civil Affairs. All review experts unanimously considered that: this project research report put forward the general idea, job objective and task for establishing the Senior Service Evaluation System with Chinese characteristics, with solid theory foundation, clear thinking and reasonable framework as well as the higher level of original creativity and  foresight. The research report set scientific scheme on establishing a perfect senior service evaluation constructing mechanism, the evaluation organizing mode for senior service evaluation, scientific classification of evaluation, and the routes for establishing evaluation system process and monitoring mechanism, which has a scientific instruction effect for effectively solving the practical problems in existing senior service via evaluation, improving senior service quality and management levels. The Expert Panel unanimously passed the project review acceptance.  

July 23rd: The Project Acceptance Meeting for the “Demonstration Project on Development Research and Application of National Social Endowment Integrated Information Service Platform” was held in Beijing; being a “National Sci-Tech Support Plan” within “the Twelfth Five-year Plan”, this project was undertaken by Social Welfare Center in Ministry of Civil Affairs, China Association of Social Welfare and China Architecture Design & Research Group under the organizing by Ministry of Civil Affairs with authorization from Ministry of Science and Technology. Leaders attended this meeting include Counselor Sun Chengyong and Section Chief Xu Luping from Department of S&T for Social Development of Ministry of Science and Technology, Deputy Director Guo Yuqiang from Department of Human Resources and Deputy Director Zhen Bingliang from Department of Social Welfare and Charity Promotion in Ministry of Civil Affairs, and other leaders. As the project chief, Feng Xiaoli, Vice President and Secretary-General of China Association of Social Welfare, reported the R & D results of this project. Review experts unanimously considered that, this project has completed the tasks set in the official written reply, and the various researches oriented to China’s institutional endowment and community endowment services system development provided effective technical support and criteria basis for fully improving Chinese national endowment service levels and abilities. Experts unanimously approved of giving a qualified acceptance result for this project.

July 23rd: “The Symposium on Modification and Improvement of Standardization Development Planning for Senior Service Industry (2016 to 2020) and the Research Report for Senior Service Standard System Framework” was held in Beijing, which was sponsored by Department of Social Welfare and Charity Promotion in Ministry of Civil Affairs and undertaken by China Association of Social Welfare. 14 leaders and experts attended this meeting, including Director Yang Zeshi from Service Industry Standardization Department under Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China (SAC), Vice President Zhang Kaiti from China Silver Industry Association, Vice President and Secretary-General Feng Xiaoli of China Association of Social Welfare, Research Fellow Xiao Chenglong from 101 Institute of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, Section Chief Ji Erming from Social Service Industry Section under SAC Service Industry Standardization Department, Section Chief Zhang Xiaofeng and Deputy Section Chief Sun Wencan from Elderly Welfare Section under Department of Social Welfare and Charity Promotion in Ministry of Civil Affairs, Section Chief Zou Yonghong from Sci. & Tech. Standardization Section under Department of Human Resources in Ministry of Civil Affairs, Deputy Secretary-General Tian Lanning from China Association of Social Welfare, and other leaders. This meeting was chaired by Section Chief Zhang Xiaofeng from Department of Social Welfare and Charity Promotion in Ministry of Civil Affairs. All participated experts spoken enthusiastically, reviewed and modified earnestly, put forward specific suggestions for revising the planning.

July 24th: “Liaoning Province Program of The Distance Education Training for Presidents of National Senior Service Agencies and Senior Caregivers” was opened at Shenyang Social Welfare Center. Standing Vice President Zhang Mingliang from China Association of Social Welfare, Standing Vice President Dong Zhulin from Liaoning Provincial Association of Social Welfare, Vice President and Secretary-General Tong Zixin from Liaoning Provincial Association of Social Welfare, and Secretary Shen Bin from Shenyang Senior Service Center attended the opening ceremony and gave their respective speeches.

July 28th: “Qinghai Province Program of The Distance Education Training for Presidents of National Senior Service Agencies and Senior Caregivers” was opened at Qinghai Senior Service Center. Standing Vice President Zhang Mingliang from China Association of Social Welfare and Deputy Director Chen Kexiang from Qinghai Civil Affairs Department attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

July 30th: “Hubei Province Program of The Distance Education Training for Presidents of National Senior Service Agencies and Senior Caregivers” was opened at Social Welfare Institute of Wuhan Jianghan District. Standing Vice President Zhang Mingliang from China Association of Social Welfare and Deputy District Mayor from Wuhan Jianghan District attended the opening ceremony and gave speeches.
