October 2015-Memorabilia of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service

From 17th to 21st of October: “The Fifth National Civil Affairs Industry Vocational Skills Competition & The Third National Senior Caregivers Vocational Skills Competition” was held at Yantai City of Shandong Province, which was sponsored by Department of Human Resources in Ministry of Civil Affairs, China Employment Training Technical Instruction Center and The Office of The Chinese Workers' Technical Association (CWTA), and organized by Yantai Municipal People’s Government, Occupational Skill Testing and Instruction Authority under Ministry of Civil Affairs and China Association of Social Welfare. More than 100 competitors from 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities all over China participated in this competition. China Association of Social Welfare donated 200,000 Yuan for this competition.

Leaders from many levels attended the closing ceremony, including Dou Yupei, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy Minister of Ministry of Civil Affairs; Xu Liqun, Director of Department of Human Resources in Ministry of Civil Affairs; Min Yingqiu, Executive Vice Secretary-General of The Chinese Workers' Technical Association (CWTA) and Deputy Director of Economics and Technology Department of All-China Federation of Trade Union; Zhang Yongxia, Deputy Secretary of Yantai Municipal CPC Committee and Mayor of Yantai City; Zhou Yunping, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee and Deputy Director of Civil Affairs Department of Shandong Province; Zou Wenkai, Director of Occupational Skill Testing and Instruction Authority under Ministry of Civil Affairs; Zhen Bingliang, Secretary of Party Committee from Social Welfare Center in Ministry of Civil Affairs; Song Weining, Deputy Mayor of Yantai City; and Wang Xiushan, Director of Department of Endowment Service Vocational Skills Training in China Association of Social Welfare.

October 26th: China Association of Social Welfare convened “The Fourth President Office Meeting in 2015”, which was chaired by President Liu Guanghe of China Association of Social Welfare. Standing Vice President Zhang Mingliang, Vice President and Secretary-General Feng Xiaoli andother leaders from China Association of Social Welfare attended this meeting. This meeting conveyed the meeting spirit from Department of Social Welfare and Charity Promotion in Ministry of Civil Affairs on the general report of the special supervision and inspection results of Nongovernmental Organizations under the management of this Ministry by Department of Social Welfare and Charity Promotion in Ministry of Civil Affairs; this meeting also organized participants to learn documents related to reinforcement on management to nongovernmental organizations that promulgated by the State and Ministry of Civil Affairs, carried out a careful research on the Association’s implementation measures for legally and normally reinforcing management and discussed about affairs related to the Party Committee development and leadership transition of the Association.
