November 2015-Memorabilia of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service

From June to November, the Research Panel consists of experts and chiefs of professional committees under the leading of Vice President and Secretary-General Feng Xiaoli of China Association of Social Welfare had successively gone to Jilin, Zhejiang, Anhui, Shandong, Henan, Hunan, Guangdong, Shenzhen, Shaanxi and Hebei to carry out investigations to standardization development pilots of senior service agencies in 10 provinces (cities) of China. During the said period of investigation, they also set up 20 standardization development pilots of senior service agencies (the second batch), further promoted and publicized the implementation of senior service standards, and effectively implemented the standardization development of senior service agencies via demonstration and guide.

November 3rd: “Shanxi Province Program of The Distance Education Training for Presidents of National Senior Service Agencies and Senior Caregivers” was opened at Fenyang College Shanxi Medical University. Vice President Ren Yunqing from Fenyang College Shanxi Medical University, Director Wang Xiushan and Deputy Director-General Jiang Xiaoling from China Association of Social Welfare and other leaders attended the Opening Ceremony.

November 5th: To fully play the industrial advantage of this Association and cooperate with competent department in undertaking related tasks, the name “China Association of Social Welfare” has been adjusted and changed into “China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service” upon the approval of Ministry of Civil Affairs.

November 10th: “Shaanxi Province Program of The Distance Education Training for Presidents of National Senior Service Agencies and Senior Caregivers” was opened at Shaanxi Labor College. Vice President and Secretary-General Feng Xiaoli of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, Secretary Wang Yanzhi of Party Committee and President Han Rui from Shaanxi Labor College attended this ceremony and delivered speeches.

From 20th to 21st of November: Vice President and Secretary-General Feng Xiaoli of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service attended “The Second High Level Conversation Activity between National Endowment Industry and Vocational Education”. Xu Liqun, Director of Department of Human Resources in Ministry of Civil Affairs and Chairman of National Civil Affairs Industry Guidance Committee, attended the opening ceremony of this activity and delivered a speech. China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service became a component unit of China Endowment Industry and Education Alliance and a member unit of the Alliance Presidium; moreover, it also signed the Cooperation Agreement on Educational Resources Database Development Project for Elderly Service and Management Major under Vocational Education Program of Ministry of Education with Department of Senior Citizens Welfare in Beijing College of Social Administration, also voluntarily donated the Guide on Senior Service (Series of Textbooks for Training on Job Skills Practice of Senior Service) to support the research & development for all topics in the Educational Resources Database Development Project for Elderly Service and Management Major under Vocational Education Program of Ministry of Education.
