December 15th: China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service held“2015 Symposium on Innovative Development of National Provincial (Municipal) Associations of Social Welfare & The Training Session for Standardization Development Pilots of Senior Service Agencies (The Second Batch)”.

At the morning of the 15th day in this month, the “Symposium on Innovative Development of National Provincial (Municipal) Associations of Social Welfare” was held. President Liu Guanghe from China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service and Deputy Director Meng Zhiqiang from Department of Social Welfare and Charity Promotion in Ministry of Civil Affairs attended this Symposium and delivered speeches; and this Symposium was chaired by Standing Vice President Zhang Mingliang from China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service. Many leaders gave key speeches at this Symposium, including Secretary Zhen Bingliang of Party Committee from Social Welfare Center in Ministry of Civil Affairs, President Li Jianguo from Beijing Senior Industry Association, President Niu Xuexing from Jiangsu Provincial Association of Social Welfare, President Zhang Dasong from Jilin Provincial Association of Social Welfare, President Liu Ming from Sichuan Association of Senior Services, Standing Vice President Dong Zhulin from Liaoning Provincial Association of Social Welfare, and Deputy Secretary-General Tian Lanning from China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service; Section Chief Yu Meng from Bureau for Management of Nongovernmental Organizations in Ministry of CivilAffairs gave a lecture for “Requirements on Business Expansion and Standardized Management of Nongovernmental Organizations” to all participants; after having informal discussions and exchanging views mutually between all participants, Feng Xiaoli, Vice President and Secretary-General of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, summarized thisSymposium. 25leaders from related local associations and civil affairs sections of 16 provinces (cities), representatives from 10 standing council member entities and council member entities under China Associations of Social Welfare and Senior Service attended this Symposium. 

At the afternoon of the 15th day in this month, “The Training Session for The Second Batch of Standardization Development Pilots of Senior Service Agencies” was held, at which, three leaders attended and delivered speeches, including Vice President and Secretary-General Feng Xiaoli of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, Section Chief Zhang Xiaofeng from Department of Social Welfare and Charity Promotion in Ministry of Civil Affairs, andDoctor Tao Lijun from Department of Human Resources in Ministry of Civil Affairs. This Session was chaired by Deputy Secretary-General Liu Youxue of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service. Vice President and Secretary-General Feng Xiaoli of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service reported the general information of the first batch of standardization development pilots of senior service agencies, interpreted the working scheme for the second batch of standardization development pilots of senior service agencies, and also set specific work requirements to the second batch of pilots. After sharing experiences by excellent standardization development entities, the industry experts explained the announced standards and carried out trainings on related supporting software application. 10 industry experts, representatives from 5 pilots of the first batch, chiefs of 20 pilots of the second batch attended this Session.
