From May 10^th to 14^th, 2018 First National Training Course of Alzheimer Disease Care was successfully held in Beijing. During the 7^th China International Senior Services Expo, as the host, China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service(CASWSS) integrated domestic and foreign excellent resources, and incorporated with the organizer Nichii  (Beijing) Home Pension Service Co., Ltd. jointly carried out this international and high level senior service special training course.75 senior service managers and services from 18 provinces and cities attended the training course.

On the morning of May 10th, the Opening Ceremony was held in Beijing Asian Games Village Hotel. Meng Fanli, Vice-President of CASWSS, Tanemoto Takako, Standing Executive Director of China Business Department of Nichii Gakkan Co., Ltd.,Fan Huijuan, Chief Operating Officer for Nursing Service of Nichii  (Beijing) Home Pension Service Co., Ltd. attended the Opening Ceremony. In her speech, Meng Fanli passionately congratulated on the opening of the training course, and warmly welcomed all the trainees coming from different places. She pointed out that Alzheimer Disease has become a big problem among the elders as the population ages, in which the care issues has been proved to be the essential topic in senior service industry. To solve the care issues, we need to strengthen the building of senior service talents team, improve the professional level of senior service staff. This training course provided a study platform and would played a key role in satisfying the learning demands of Alzheimer Disease care skills and improving service level. She hoped that all the trainees could cherish this opportunity to learn something and put them into practice and finally improve the professional skills.

In her speech, Tanemoto Takako introduced the advanced senior service experience and practice of Nichii Gakkan Co., Ltd., as well as the curriculum and lecturers of this training course. She extended her thanks to the trust and support from CASWSS, Nichii Gakkan Co., Ltd., Nichii  (Beijing) Home Pension Service Co., Ltd. could organized this special training course. They would carefully organize experts and lecturers to instruct scientific and practical Alzheimer Disease care skills.

In the 4 days training course, the experts and lecturers conducted systematical instructions including basic knowledge of Alzheimer Disease, types and characteristics of Alzheimer Disease, diagnose and treatment of Alzheimer Disease, key points of Alzheimer Disease care, practice of Alzheimer Disease care, prevention of Alzheimer Disease, characteristics of facilities in Japan’s Alzheimer Disease caring homes. The abundant content, vivid instructions and practical cases sharing deepened trainees’ understanding of Alzheimer Disease care. Trainees all expressed that the wonderful speeches were refreshing. Their perspectives were broadened, their knowledge of Alzheimer Disease was increased and their professional service level was improved. The training site was fully of learning atmosphere with an overwhelming response.

An Ending Ceremony was held after 4 days training. Feng Xiaoli spoke highly of this training course, and made requirements and hope for their future work. She hoped that every trainee would put the professional knowledge and skills into practical usage when back to nursing homes, and effectively improve their service level. Making the seed of ‘senior service professional skills’ blossom in nursing homes and provided strong guarantee to the happy later life for the elderly.
