The 7th SSIDC Forum on Senior Service Informatics Innovation Successfully held in Beijing

The 7^th SSIDC Forum on Senior Service Informatics Innovation was held at China National Convention Center in Beijing on the morning of May 10^th, 2018. The Forum was hosted by China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service(CASWSS) and Zhongguancun SSIDC Smart Senior Care and Health Industrial Alliance, and organized by SSIDC Senior Service Informatics Innovation Research Center and CASWSS Senior Service Informatics Development Community.

The Forum was themed with “The Knowledge and Practice of ICT Application in Senior Care”, and gathered idea leaders in Senior Service Informatics field, star presidents from domestic senior service institutions, representatives from private enterprises, a total number of 400 experts and audience attended the meeting, creating an exchanging and communicating platform for all participants in Senior Service Informatics field.

Liu Guanghe, First President of CASWSS addressed the meeting, he congratulated on the opening of the Forum, and spoke highly of the results which have been achieved by SSIDC in Senior Service Informatics field in so many years. He also encouraged all walks of life in the society to continue the exploration and innovation in senior service informatics field.

Wang Shenyuan, vice director of the National Research Center for Rehabilitation Technical Aids delivered a speech in which he narrated the development trend of smart senior care in new era, and pointed out artificial intelligence is an important supporting technology and inevitable trend for the development of future senior care services.

Dr. Lanning Tian, Vice President of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, President of the SSIDC Senior Services Informatics Innovation Research Center delivered a speech on the theme of The Knowledge and Practice of ICT Application in Senior Care, narrated the application of informatics technology in real life, praised the numerous persons with lofty ideals for their bold innovation and perseverance in the development process of informatics. As the editor-in-chief, she hosted the publishing ceremony of The Knowledge and Practice of ICT Application in Senior Care.

At the same time, Inauguration of Zhongguancun SSIDC Smart Senior Care and Health Industrial Alliance was hosted during the Forum. We would further push forward the integration of “Production, Learn, Research and User” in senior service informatics field on a more broader platform.

Dr. Tjalke de Jong, Netherlands Mensken Service Company, Dai Jian, Secretary General of Zhongguancun Federation of Social Organizations, Dr. Khalil Ramal, Vice-Chair of Standing Committee on the Legislative Assembly, Zhou Chunfang, President of Social Welfare Institute of Wuhan Jianghan District, Zhang Baoming, President of Nanjing Maitewang Technology Co., Ltd, Jeff Liu, French Legrand China Business Development Manager, Cui Yao, Vice General Manager of Yiyang Zizaitong Info-Tech Co., Ltd attended the meeting and delivered wonderful themed speeches.          

The speakers shared their experience and feelings in the process of participating and promoting senior service informatics career, introduced the importance of informatics technology in improving service management system of nursing institution, explored the important driving force of intelligent operation in promoting the sustainable development of senior service ecosystem.

At the same time, CEO of excellent enterprises cases from The Knowledge and Practice of ICT Application in Senior Care held a dialogue on the forum them The Knowledge and Practice of ICT Application in Senior Care. Audience who attended this Forum included government leaders in charge of senior service, university professors who did informatics nursing researches, IT experts who were dedicated to senior career, and members of Home of SSIDC Evaluators from all across the country. The wonderful speeches made by distinguished guests have aroused strong resonance from the audience. The atmosphere of the forum was enthusiastic and the forum was a complete success.
