Forum on Rehabilitation and Nursing Service for the Elderly Successfully Held in Beijing

On May 10^th, Forum on Rehabilitation and Nursing Service for the Elderly of CISSE2018 was successfully held at China National Convention Center in Beijing. As one of the parallel activities, The Forum was hosted by China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service(CASWSS), and China Rehabilitation Research Center, Co-organized by Beijing Bo Ai Hospital, School of Nursing, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. Liu Songhuai, Director of Dept. of Psychology, China Rehabilitation Research Center and Rui Hairong, Vice-President of Xi’an Union Hospital hosted the meeting. Totally 200 leaders, experts, scholars and industrial talents from home and abroad    attended the meeting.

Li Jianjun, Vice-President of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service(CASWSS) and Director of China Rehabilitation Research Center addressed the meeting and congratulated on the opening of the forum. In his speech, he said this meeting was guided by governmental reform policy, health and prevention, and industrial demands as the standing point and starting points and the meeting focused on mental health, cognitive care and hospice care services. He sincerely hoped that all the experts could exchange advanced technology and research achievements about elder rehabilitation and nursing, enhance our friendship, and made great contributions to the development of China’s Rehabilitation and Nursing Service for the Elderly, further improve seniors’ participation, acquisition and happiness.

At the forum, more than 10 experts and scholars closely attached to the theme of Senior Rehabilitation and Nursing Service, discussed and analyzed industrial trends and current situation of Senior Rehabilitation and Nursing Service in a novel perspective, professional interpretation and keen visions, and the wonderful speeches they delivered aroused a strong response. This meeting played a positive role in leading the development of Senior Rehabilitation and Nursing Service and improving senior service quality. This meeting achieved a great success.
