To Celebrated the Sixth Elderly Festival CASWSS 2nd Training to Heads of Nursing Homes Started

On 15^th October, the occasion of the 6^th Chinese Elderly Festival, 2018 Wuhan Hubei (International) Senior Services Expo(hereinafter Expo) was held at Wuhan International Conference&Exhibition Center. The Expo was guided by China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service(CASWSS), Hubei Civil Administration Office and Office of Hubei Working Commission on Aging, hosted by Wuhan People’s Government, and organized by Wuhan Civil Affairs Bureau (Office of Wuhan Working Commission on Aging). Feng Xiaoli, President of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service attended the Opening Ceremony, and delivered a keynote speech at Forum on Internet + Home-based Senior Care.

On 16th October, a series of events related to Double Ninth Festival organized by CASWSS were going to be held in Wuhan, Hubei. Hosted by CASWSS and Civil Affairs Bureau of Jianghan District, Wuhan, and organized by Social Welfare Institute of Jianghan District, Wuhan, the 2nd Training to Heads of Nursing Homes in 2018 was opened at Social Welfare Institute of Jianghan District, Wuhan.

Feng Xiaoli, Presient of CASWSS; Liu Youxue, Vice-president of CASWSS; Xu Yuanming, Deputy-director of Wuhan Civil Affairs Bureau; Li Zhan, Mayor of Jianghan District; Zhou Lan,Vice-mayor of Jianghan District; He Xiaoping, Section Chief of Wuhan Civil Affairs Bureau; Jiang Fan, Secretary of Party Committe and Director of Civil Affairs Bureau of Jianghan District, Wuhan and Huang Limin, Deputy-director of Civil Affairs Bureau of Jianghan District attended the opening ceremony. Directors of nearly 200 senior service institutions from 29 provinces attended the training. 

The Opening Ceremony was presided by Liu Youxue. President Feng Xiaoli and District mayor Li Zhan addressed the ceremony. In her opening speech, President Feng expressed her earnestly appreciation to all levels of departments of Wuhan government for their high attention to the construction of senior service system and creative establishment of senior service insitutions development system, as well as the careful cacultivation of “Jianghan model”. She also extended her acknowledgement to the present directors for their long-term dedication and contributions in the front-line of senior service cause. She hoped all the trainees can understand the developing trend of senior service industry in the new era, the meaning and methods of standardization construction, as well as the successful experience of standardization construction of Jianghan district social welfare institute. President Feng advocated the trainees to actively adapt those knowledge and put them into future practice. 

On behalf of Jianghan district government, Liu Zhan, District Mayor delivered an opening speech. He sincerely expressed his appreciation to CASWSS for their long-term support to Jianghan senior service cause, and then introduced the results of senior service system construction during  “the 13th Five Year Plan”, and wished the training a complete success. After the opening ceremony, President Feng gave the first lecture on the theme of “Developing Trend of the Senior Service Standardization Construction during the 13th Five Year Plan”. President Feng’s lecture was a combination of theory and practice. Trainees acted lively in the atmosphere of profound and vivid, and the scene was moving.

In the coming three days, CASWSS will invite Xiong Chenggang, Director of the Management Committee of Jianghan District Senior Apartments in Wuhan to give a lecture on "Formation of Standardization System for Senior Service Institutions". Hua Ling, director of Yantian District Social Welfare Center in Shenzhen, Guangdong will give a lecture on "Risk Control Management under Standardization System of Senior Service Institutions"; Wang Lijun, Director of Guangdong Excellent Social Service Evaluation Center will give a lecture on “Standardization and Assessment of Senior Services”; Zhou Chunfang, Director of Jianghan District Social Welfare Institute in Wuhan, Hubei Province will give a lecture on "Innovative Practice of the Combination of Medical Care and Senior Service Modes in Senior Service Insitutions"; Li Yongbo, General Manager of Beijing Authoritative Body of World Standards Certification Center Co., Ltd. will give a lecture on “Exploration and Practice of Certification of China Senior Service Industry”; Meng Fanli, vice president of CASWSS and vice professor of Hangzhou Normal University will give a lecture on "Innovative Model of Health Management Services in Senior Service Insitutions"; Bao Yihai, Executive Deputy General Manager of Taihe Pure Land Co., Ltd., will give a lecture on “Innovative Development Model and Scientific Operation of Senior Service Insitutions”; Xu Jian, Deputy Director of the Social Work Vocational Skills Certification Center of China Association of Social Workwers, and Associate Dean of Social Work School of the National Open University will give a lecture on "The Position and Role of Social Workers in Providing Senior Services"; Liu Yanping, Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of Sunshine Yikang (Beijing) Senior Service Co., Ltd., will give a lecture on "Financial Management and Risk Control of Senior Service Insitutions", and all the trainees will be welcomed to visit Social Welfare Institute in Jianghan District to investigate the results of standardization construction. An exchange meeting will be held.
