CASWSS Expert Group made an interim examination on the senior service institutions standardiz

On September 1st, Madame Feng Xiaoli, President of CASWSS led an expert group, including Feng Liwei, Vice Secretry-General of CASWSS, Liu Songhuai, Researcher of National Research Center for Rehabilitation Technical Aids, Luo Yimin, Director of Standardization Research Department of National Research Center for Rehabilitation Technical Aids and Jiang Xiaoling, Director General of Senior Service Evaluation and Standardization Construction Committee, to make an interim examination on the senior service institutions standardization construction of Tianjin Taida International Nursing Home.

The expert group inspected its elderly living area, cultural service area, dining area and sports and healthcare area from the aspect of environment, facilities construction, facility layout, position setting, service delivery and quality management.

After that, the expert group listened to the report made by Head of Tianjin Taida International Nursing Home. Experts made objective evaluations on the merits and drawbacks during its standardization construction progress and raised specific requirements. President Feng made positive comments on its highly attention and great efforts to the standardization construction and raised some suggestion on its further work. She said that it shall learn from other pilot untis, strengthen communication with the superior department, strive to overcome difficulties and improve its facilities layout and talents training. It shall try to transfer to professional nursing type by taking advantage of hopsitals in the neighbourhood, and develop its senior service and management level by implementing published national standards so as to reach a new level on social and economic benefits.

During the inspection, the experts visited some oldest-old persons, and talked with veterans Yu Yong, Chen Xingzhou, Tan Yujing and film artist Lin Moyu. President Feng took photos of the elders to record their smiling faces.
