Shaanxi Province Launched New Policies to Protect Children in Difficulty

Shaanxi province printed and distributed Suggestions on the Implementation of Strengthening Protection to Children in Difficulty, hereinafter referred to as “Suggestions”, focusing on the outstanding problem and difficulties for plight of Children’s survival and development, providing opinions about utilizing social welfare and social assistance and other security policies comprehensively, establishing and perfecting plight of Children security system accommodated to Shaanxi province’s economic and social development level. The Suggestions gives specific enforceable suggestions from five aspects including assure basic standard of living, healthcare; strength education, guardianship; tighten disabled Children welfare service. Plight of Children are incorporated into orphan protection, hardship relief support, subsistence allowance, temporary assistance in terms of subsistence security.
