Harbin Senior Service Subsidy Covered More Seniors and Increased to RMB200 per Month per Person

As requested by General Office of Harbin Municipal People’s Government Issued on Implementations on Work of Harbin Home-Based and Community-Based Senior Service Reform Pilots, aiming at benefiting more elders who are in trouble, making them enjoy a safe, healthy and happy elderly life, with the permission of Harbin Municipal Government, home and community-based senior service purchased by the government will be expanded in terms of subsidies and coverage. Subsidy standards will be raised to RMB200 per month per person. Subsidy range will be expanded to disabled and partially disabled elders who enjoy the minimum living security, and from low-income families and from families in financial difficulties. Needed fund are offered by Harbin Welfare Lottery Fund.
